Sowore Critiques Legal Handling of VeryDarkMan's Case

Omoyele Sowore, a Nigerian human rights activist, expressed his disapproval regarding the remand of VeryDarkMan in Kuje Prison by the Federal High Court in Abuja. VeryDarkMan faces multiple charges, including impersonation, forgery, and identity theft.

Sowore took to Facebook to condemn the manner in which the case was handled, accusing VeryDarkMan's lawyer, Marshal D. F.

Abubakar, of oppressing his client. He stated that the situation should not be celebrated as a legal victory, emphasizing that the strength of the case does not stem from legal brilliance but rather from the oppressive use of the law against citizens.

Sowore urged for the discontinuation of the case and the immediate release of VeryDarkMan without further delay, highlighting the risks of emboldening a system that uses legal mechanisms as weapons against individuals.
