Blord Granted ₦20m Bail Amid Legal Dispute Updates

Linu William Ifejirika, widely known as Blord, has been granted bail in the amount of ₦20 million by Justice Rita Ofili Ajumogobia following legal disputes involving allegations of criminal conspiracy and impersonation. The case originated from accusations that Blord used an unauthorized U.S. identity, Martin Vincent Ots, to promote his cryptocurrency business on social media without permission.

He was previously remanded at Kuje Correctional Center, with further proceedings scheduled for April 27, 2026. Omoyele Sowore shared updates via Facebook, noting that Blord's release on bail comes with specific conditions, including the requirement to deposit his international passport and the necessity of two credible sureties.

Justice Ajumogobia warned Blord against making public comments regarding the case as it proceeds. Sowore criticized public reactions to Blord's detention and expressed intent to advocate for his release, while also addressing potential legal actions against impersonation.
