Senegal Can Challenge AFCON Title Stripping, Says CAF

Patrice Motsepe, the President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), confirmed that Senegal can challenge the decision to strip them of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) title. This controversial decision arose after Senegal was found to have violated Article 82 of CAF regulations during the final match against Morocco, resulting in a forfeiture of their 3-0 victory.

The ruling has triggered significant outrage across the continent, with increasing calls for transparency and accountability within CAF.
