Jakirovic Named Barclays Manager of the Month for August
Sergej Jakirovic has been named the Barclays Manager of the Month for August after achieving a perfect start with Hull City in the Premier League. This recognition is notable as Hull City returned to the top flight after a nine-year absence, having secured promotion through the Championship play-offs.
Many anticipated a challenging season for the newly promoted side, yet Jakirovic's leadership has resulted in maximum points from their first two matches. His task was to convert the momentum from promotion into a competitive Premier League team, and he has quickly demonstrated that Hull City is not merely aiming for survival but is ready to compete effectively in the league.
