SERVICOM and TRCN Collaborate to Enhance Education

On July 30, 2026, SERVICOM and the Teacher Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) announced a partnership aimed at improving education delivery in Nigeria. Helen Lawal, the CEO of SERVICOM, acknowledged TRCN's achievements and emphasized the need for a formal inauguration of the newly appointed SERVICOM unit.

Lawal proposed a 30-day timeline for issuing teacher licenses and urged continuous staff training. Ronk Soyombo, the Registrar and Chief Executive of TRCN, reaffirmed the council's commitment to maintaining professional standards and enhancing the teaching workforce.

He revealed that TRCN has registered and issued certificates to 1.6 million teachers across 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, ensuring compliance with pedagogical skills and ethics. Soyombo also announced upcoming digital transformation initiatives aimed at equipping teachers with technology-driven instructional resources aligned with national curriculum standards.

The partnership seeks to ensure that every Nigerian child is taught by a professionally trained and certified educator.
