SERVICOM Launches Units to Boost Agricultural Service Delivery

On May 15, 2026, SERVICOM inaugurated parastatal units for the Nigeria Agricultural Quarantine Service (NAQS) and the Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN) in Abuja, aiming to strengthen service delivery across federal agencies. Helen Lawal, the CEO of SERVICOM, described the event as a critical step in sustaining service delivery initiatives that contribute to the federal government's Renewed Hope Agenda.

She commended the management for fostering a culture of continuous improvement in service delivery. The newly inaugurated units are tasked with drafting and launching service charters, monitoring service standards, and managing customer feedback.

Lawal emphasized the importance of quality service provision for farmers, livestock breeders, and other stakeholders. Udo Effik, representing the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, congratulated the members on their roles in empowering staff to address agricultural import and export concerns.

The initiative aims to enhance Nigeria's agricultural economy and public health while ensuring compliance with quarantine laws.
