Shettima Condoles Families of Kebbi's Fallen Heroes

On Tuesday, Vice President Kashim Shettima visited Kebbi to convey condolences on behalf of President Bola Tinubu to the families of fallen heroes and the late Speaker of the Kebbi State House of Assembly, Alhaji Muhammad Usman Zuru. This visit followed the tragic death of the Speaker on April 6 in Cairo, Egypt, due to prolonged illness, and the recent killing of 11 individuals, including security personnel, in an ambush in Shanga Local Government Area.

Shettima expressed profound sympathy for the families affected by these incidents and commended the Kebbi State government for its efforts in education and infrastructure. He also announced a donation of N100 million to support displaced persons and N60 million to the families of fallen security personnel.

The delegation included Hajiya Zubaida Umar, Director General of NEMA, and other dignitaries who emphasized the federal government's commitment to supporting the state during this difficult time.
