Tinubu Sends Shettima to Kebbi for Condolences

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu dispatched Vice President Kashim Shettima to Kebbi State to deliver condolences regarding a tragic incident that resulted in the deaths of Speaker Usman Muhammad Zuru and 11 soldiers killed in an ambush by bandits. The incident occurred in the Shanga Local Government Area, which has been affected by violence.

During his visit to Birnin Kebbi on Tuesday, Shettima conveyed President Tinubu's profound condolences to Governor Nasir Idris and the people of Kebbi State, expressing empathy for the losses suffered by the community. President Tinubu described the incident as a sad development and instructed the Director-General of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to provide support to the affected community.

He praised the gallant troops, assuring that their loss would not be in vain.
