Shettima Prioritizes National Security at Abuja Event

During an event in Abuja on Monday, Vice President Kashim Shettima reaffirmed that national security remains a top priority for the Nigerian government. He made these remarks while serving as the special guest of honor at the launch of Babajid Kolade Otitoju's book, "Life of a Journalist." Shettima responded to calls from TVC anchor Babajid Kolade Otitoju, urging the government to take decisive action against the rising insecurity in the country.

He highlighted the government's commitment to ensuring the safety of citizens and their properties, stating that President Bola Tinubu is determined to address security issues comprehensively. Shettima praised the media's role in democracy and described Otitoju's work as a model of integrity and courage.

The event was attended by several governors, including Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State, Babajid Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, and Babagana Zulum of Borno State, who congratulated Otitoju on his milestone.
