Tinubu's Aide Calls for Vandals of Public Infrastructure to be Shot On Sight

Tinubu's Aide, a special adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, has urged the public to shoot vandals of public infrastructure on sight. This call came after reports of sabotage on ongoing federal road reconstruction projects.

The aide, Onanuga, made this statement in response to a viral video showing damage to a part of the Ibadan-Ilesa expressway, a critical federal road linking Oyo and Osun states. The video depicted individuals removing a vital component of the highway project known as the "starter bar." This action poses a threat to the structural integrity of the road segment.

The Federal Ministry of Works is overseeing the reconstruction project as part of efforts to enhance inter-state transport and economic activities.
