SMEDAN to Create 100 Millionaires at Lagos Conference

The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) has announced an initiative to create 100 millionaire entrepreneurs through business development training, masterclasses, and financial grants at the 2026 GROW Nigerian Conference. This three-day event will take place from November 8 to 10 at the Ecobank Pan African Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos.
The conference aims to equip small and medium-scale enterprises with essential knowledge, financial resources, and institutional support for sustainable business growth. Selected participants will receive financial grants after masterclass sessions, and the Zero to 100 Pitch Competition will offer additional funding opportunities with a ₦100 million prize pool.
The final pitching session will occur on November 10. SMEDAN Director-General Charles Odii stated that the conference addresses challenges preventing skilled Nigerians from establishing successful businesses.
The event will also feature the Nigeria First Fair, a marketplace for the public to purchase products from local businesses.
