Sokoto State Government Boosts Security with New Vehicles

The Sokoto State Government has presented operational vehicles to various security agencies as part of its initiative to strengthen the fight against banditry and other criminal activities. These vehicles were procured under the administration of Governor Ahmed Aliyu to enhance the operational capacity of the security forces and improve the overall security architecture of the state.

During the presentation, Deputy Governor Alhaji Idris Mohammed Gobir reaffirmed the administration's commitment to restoring lasting peace and security in Sokoto State. He urged the beneficiary agencies to utilize the vehicles judiciously in their duties to achieve the intended objectives.

Alhaji Gobir also highlighted that maintaining peace and security is a collective responsibility, stressing that security agencies cannot effectively combat crime without the support of the public. He called on residents to cooperate with security agencies by promptly reporting any suspicious persons or activities.
