Sokoto Youths Raise N10m for Rep. Yabo's 2027 Bid

On a recent occasion, youths from Yabo Shagari Local Government Area raised N10 million to support Rep. Umar Yusuf Yabo's bid for re-election to the House of Representatives in 2027.

The fundraising ceremony, coordinated by Malam Maliki, took place at the Yabo Town administrative headquarters and attracted numerous young attendees who expressed their desire to see Yabo return to the National Assembly. Maliki explained that the funds would be used to purchase nomination forms for Yabo, who represents the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

He emphasized the youth's belief in Yabo's qualities as a representative and his commitment to the constituency. Hon.

Bashir Gorau, a member representing Goronyo/Gada Federal Constituency, praised the youths for their selfless gesture and highlighted Yabo's accomplishments in the constituency. The event also served as a call for young people to mobilize and vote for the ADC in the upcoming elections, as they seek to provide an alternative to the ruling party.
