Nigerian Troops Neutralize ISWAP Fighters in Borno Operation

Nigerian troops launched a coordinated operation in Borno State, targeting a terrorists' camp and successfully neutralizing several ISWAP fighters. The operation, led by the Hadin Kai Task Force, resulted in the recovery of arms and ammunition, including AK-47 rifles, anti-aircraft guns, rocket-propelled grenades, and more.

The troops' swift and decisive action dealt a major setback to the insurgents' logistical operations in the area, destroying their life support structures. Additionally, in a separate incident, troops in Sabon Gari faced an attack by ISWAP fighters supported by armed drones.

However, the gallant troops repelled the assault, preventing further gains by the insurgents. The security forces continue to deny terrorists freedom of movement and protect local communities from further attacks.
