Soldiers Neutralize Terrorists, Arrest Arsonists in Plateau

On Friday, the Joint Military Task Force in Plateau State reported the neutralization of three terrorists and the arrest of two individuals suspected of arson. Captain Chinonso Oteh disclosed that the operations aimed to restore peace in the troubled Jos North Local Government Area.

The troops apprehended the two suspects, who were disguised in tactical black uniforms, during an operation in Duts Uku, where they were caught participating in the arson of residential properties. Additionally, a separate operation in Karem Wase disrupted a large-scale movement of terrorists.

The military's actions were prompted by a distress call regarding sporadic gunfire in the Duts Uku area. The arrested individuals were found with gunshot wounds and received medical attention.

The military urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the authorities as part of ongoing efforts to ensure the safety of citizens.
