Nony Soludo Demands Justice for Scalded 10-Year-Old Boy

Nony Soludo, the wife of Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo, has mandated that specialized medical care be provided for a 10-year-old boy who was reportedly scalded by his caregiver, Chisom Chukwunyer. The boy allegedly suffered severe burns that melted plastic on his body.

Following the incident, which occurred in Awada Obosi near Onitsha, the boy's family rescued him and reported the abuse. Governor Soludo expressed deep sadness and horror over the alleged abuse, stating that no child deserves to endure such cruelty.

He emphasized the administration's commitment to zero tolerance for any form of abuse against children and women. Nony Soludo has requested that the heinous act be brought to justice, including the arrest of the suspect.

The Anambra State Police Command, represented by spokesperson Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed that the couple remains in custody while investigations are ongoing, and prosecution will follow upon conclusion.
