South Africa Reveals New 2026 World Cup Football Kit

South Africa has officially unveiled its new football kit for the 2026 World Cup, designed by Adidas for the 2026-27 season. The design draws inspiration from the memorable 2010 jersey, symbolizing pride during a defining moment in South African football.

The new kit honors the legacy of the nation and marks a confident step into a new era. Notably, the design incorporates elements that pay tribute to South Africa's 12 official languages, reflecting the nation's diversity and unity.

Tom Brown, Senior Market Director at Adidas South Africa, highlighted that the jersey features distinct references to the diverse languages of the nation, including a unique collar design. The South African women's team, Bafana Banyana, is set to participate in the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations from March 17 to April 3, 2024, in Morocco, while the men's team will represent South Africa in the FIFA World Cup scheduled for June and July in North America.
