Southern PDP Governors, Others In Closed Door Meeting

Southern PDP governors and other top party leaders recently gathered for a closed-door meeting known as the PDP Southern Zoning Consultative Summit. The event was attended by governors such as Seyi Makinde of Oyo State and Douye Diri of Bayelsa, as well as Enugu State Deputy Governor Ifeanyi Ossai representing Governor Peter Mbah.

Key figures like Senator Adolphus Wabara and Chief Olabode George were also present. The meeting, which included discussions on party zoning arrangements, faced controversy as a separate zoning meeting was planned in Lagos.

Despite this, the consultative summit proceeded as scheduled. Journalists were asked to leave the venue to allow for private discussions among party leaders.

The summit aimed to address important issues within the PDP's southern region.
