Spiro Launches 1,000 Electric Bikes in Ogun State

Spiro Africa has expanded its electric mobility operations in Ogun State by deploying a fleet of 1,000 electric bikes, officially inaugurated at Gateway International Airport by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun. This landmark initiative represents a significant advancement in sustainable transportation across Nigeria, aiming to reduce carbon emissions and offer affordable alternatives to fuel-powered vehicles.

Kaushik Burman, CEO of Spiro, expressed pride in partnering with the Ogun State government and the federal government to deliver eco-friendly mobility solutions that empower Nigerians, improve livelihoods, and protect the environment. Governor Abiodun highlighted that the electric bikes will help mitigate the impact of rising fuel prices, providing a cost-effective solution for riders and passengers.
