Zamfara Governor Joins Tinubu's UK State Visit Delegation

Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal will accompany President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on a state visit to the United Kingdom scheduled for March 18-19, 2026. The visit aims to strengthen bilateral relations and explore collaborative opportunities in immigration, trade, investment, and cultural exchange.

During the visit, President Tinubu and First Lady will be hosted by King Charles at Windsor Castle, where they will view a special exhibit of royal collections related to Nigeria. Additionally, a state banquet will be held in honor of the Nigerian guests.

President Tinubu is expected to meet with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer to discuss expanding bilateral talks, culminating in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) focused on trade, investment, and cultural cooperation. The visit will also provide Governor Lawal with networking opportunities to open significant investment prospects benefiting Zamfara State.
