Strasbourg Appoints Gary O'Neil as Manager, Wolves Return Ruled Out

Strasbourg has agreed in principle to appoint Gary O'Neil as their new manager, replacing Liam Rosenior. O'Neil, a former Wolverhampton Wanderers boss, will take over the reins at the French club.

This move comes as Wolves rule out a return for Vitor Pereira. O'Neil, who previously managed Bournemouth as a caretaker, will now lead Strasbourg in Ligue 1.

The decision follows Rosenior's tenure at Strasbourg, which began in July 2024. O'Neil's coaching journey started at Liverpool, and he later managed Bournemouth before joining Strasbourg.

The club is seeking Premier League experience, with names like Patrick Vieira also being considered.
