Nigerian Delegation Competes for CDYPE 2026 Slots

Nigerian oil and gas executives, project developers, and subnational investment vehicles are vying for inclusion in the official Nigerian delegation to the 19th China (Dongying) International Petroleum and Petrochemical Equipment & Technology Exhibition (CDYPE 2026), taking place from September 28 to 30, 2026, in Dongying, Shandong Province, China. This exhibition is recognized as one of Asia's leading industrial energy platforms, situated in a region known for its significant petroleum resources, including the Shengli Oilfield.

The event will host over 500 major industrial exhibitors and 20,000 international delegates, including prominent Chinese state energy companies. Access to the Nigerian delegation is limited due to a strict quota aimed at ensuring discussions remain transaction-focused.

The nomination deadline for delegates is set for September 10, 2026. The mission is organized by Oraso Consulting Ltd, in collaboration with the Nigeria China Strategic Partnership, the Embassy of Nigeria in China, and the CDYPE Organizing Committee.

Key engagement areas will include gas monetization, modular refining, upstream asset development, and subnational special economic zones.
