SUNU Assurances AGM Approves Directors and Auditor

At the 39th Annual General Meeting of SUNU Assurances Nigeria Plc held in Lagos, shareholders approved the re-election of Aisha Abubakar as a director and ratified the appointments of three new directors: Lucie Tannous Barry as Independent Non-Executive Director, Roland Ouedraogo as Non-Executive Director, and Olayinka Adaramola as Executive Director, Technical Operations. The shareholders also appointed TAC Professional Services as the company’s external auditor, replacing the retiring audit firm, SIAO Partners.

The meeting reviewed the company’s consolidated audited financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2025, along with reports from the directors, Audit Committee, and external auditors. Shareholders authorized the Board of Directors to determine the remuneration of TAC Professional Services for the 2026 financial year and approved the disclosure of the remuneration of the company’s managers as per the 2025 audited financial statements.

Additionally, three shareholder representatives were elected to the Audit Committee, and the Board was authorized to determine the remuneration of Non-Executive Directors for the 2026 financial year.
