Ajibade Partners NIS for Grassroots Coaching Scholarships

Rasheedat Ajibade, the captain of the Super Falcons, has reaffirmed her commitment to developing Nigerian sports by partnering with the Nigerian Institute of Sport (NIS) in Lagos. This collaboration aims to expand opportunities for grassroots coaches and young talent through the Rasheedat Ajibade Foundation.

During a visit to the NIS, Ajibade and her delegation discussed strengthening collaboration in sports development and coaching education across Nigeria. The foundation announced a coaching education scholarship initiative designed to provide aspiring grassroots coaches with access to professional coaching education at the NIS.

Comrade Philip Shaibu, the Director General and Chief Executive Officer of NIS, and Mr. Belmond Benson, the Registrar of the Institute, acknowledged Ajibade's contributions and emphasized the importance of investing in the future of sports professionals.
