Super Falcons Expand Camp to 24 Ahead of Cameroon Friendlies

The Super Falcons' training camp in Yaoundé has increased to 24 players following the arrival of four senior players: goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, defender Michel Alozie, Osinachi Ohale, and forward Chinwendu Ihezuo. They are expected to join their teammates for training later tonight as preparations intensify for a double-header friendly against the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon.

The team, led by captain Rasheedat Ajibade, had already commenced training at the Stade Omnisport Ahmadu Ahidjo. The first friendly is scheduled for Saturday at the Military Stadium in Yaoundé, with a second match set for Tuesday.

These matches are part of Nigeria's preparations for the upcoming Women's Africa Cup of Nations, which will take place in Morocco from March 17 to April 3, 2026. The Super Falcons, who have won the tournament ten times, will compete in Group C alongside Zambia, Egypt, and Malawi, with their campaign beginning on March 18 against Malawi.
