Suspected Cattle Rustlers Arrested in Jigawa Following Police Raid

In Jigawa, Nigeria, authorities arrested several suspected cattle rustlers aged between 20 and 45 following a raid by police personnel from the Hadejia and Auyo Divisions. The suspects were apprehended in an uncompleted building in Hadejia with stolen livestock, including a cow identified by its rightful owner.

The police recovered a Golf wagon and a Volkswagen bus during the operation. The Commissioner of Police commended the swift response of the officers and reiterated the commitment to eradicating cattle rustling in the state.

Residents, especially livestock owners, were urged to provide credible information to support security efforts in Jigawa.
