Suspected Kidnap Collaborator Dies in Nasarawa Custody

A suspected kidnap collaborator died while in custody after being arrested by military troops in Nasarawa State. The suspect was apprehended at approximately 7:00 AM on May 19 in the Ancha community of Akwanga Local Government Area, following allegations of involvement in kidnapping activities in the area.

During preliminary interrogation, the suspect reportedly became unconscious and was immediately evacuated to Nunku Primary Health Care Centre for medical attention. Health officials confirmed the suspect's death upon arrival.

Security authorities have stated that the deceased's body will be released to the family for burial according to local customs. The operation against kidnapping networks in the area remains ongoing, with further assessments being conducted in line with standard procedures.
