Police Neutralize Kidnap Kingpin, Arrest Accomplice in Kebbi

In Kebbi, police conducted a security operation that resulted in the neutralization of a suspected kidnap kingpin and the arrest of an accomplice. According to police spokesperson Bashir Usman, the operation targeted the gang leader's hideout after earlier arrests led to this location.

During the operation, the gang member Bube Tukur was apprehended, and the gang was identified as comprising eight members responsible for terrorizing several communities, including Geza, Adawa, Matsinkai, Sharabi, Illela, Suru, Dakin Gari, and Bagudo Local Government Area. The gang was linked to the abduction of Alhaji Abu Geza from Geza village.

During the operation, police recovered a pistol and live cartridges, and Alhaji Abu Geza was successfully rescued from the gang's hideout.
