Suspected Thugs Attack Benue PDP Media Consultant

On Friday night, a suspected attack targeted Iortyom, the newly appointed media consultant for the Benue State People's Democratic Party (PDP), in Makurdi. The incident occurred less than 24 hours after his appointment was announced.

Iortyom reported that he was ambushed by five assailants on two motorcycles while attempting to park his vehicle. During the attack, the assailants attempted to block his vehicle and wielded dangerous weapons.

Iortyom managed to escape unharmed due to his quick thinking and fled the scene as the attackers set his vehicle ablaze. Following the incident, the Benue State PDP reported the matter to the police, and investigations are currently ongoing.

Udem Edet, a spokesperson for the Benue State Police Command, confirmed the report and assured that the police are looking into the incident.
