Delta State Governor Urges NSC to Tackle Age Cheating in Youth Games

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State has called on the National Sports Commission to address the issue of age cheating in youth games, emphasizing the importance of safeguarding credibility and fairness. The governor made this plea during the closing ceremony of the 9th edition of the National Youth Games held at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba.

He highlighted the need for stricter measures to restore integrity and ensure that the event remains a true platform for nurturing young talent. Oborevwori commended the participants for their resilience and sportsmanship, underscoring the significance of maintaining excellence and discovering new sporting talents across the country.
