Taraba PDP Chief John Mamman Affirms Party Unity

John Mamman, a chief of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Taraba State, asserted that the PDP remains united and stable despite recent court judgments concerning internal crises within the party. In an interview in Jalingo on Thursday, Mamman emphasized the absence of disputes during the party's congress and convention, maintaining that the PDP's state working committee remains intact.

He called on residents of Taraba to continue supporting the party's leadership structure. Mamman expressed disappointment with President Bola Tinubu's administration, describing the current state of the nation as troubled.

He criticized the government's policies, alleging that Nigerians are facing worsening economic and social conditions, including insecurity, unemployment, and excessive taxation. Mamman urged Nigerians, especially eligible voters, to set aside ethnic, tribal, and religious sentiments when electing leaders, advocating for those with proven integrity and a credible track record to bring meaningful change.
