Taraba State Faces Fire Outbreaks Due to Absence of Fire Services in Local Government Areas

Concerns have been raised in Taraba State, particularly in Wukari Local Government Council, over the lack of a functioning fire service following repeated fire outbreaks. The latest incident occurred at the council's secretariat, where a fire started near a bush and spread to the building, causing significant damage.

Residents, including the council chairman Bala Useni, expressed frustration at the failure of political leaders to provide essential emergency services. Criticisms were directed at the misplaced priorities of leaders who focus on short-term projects rather than investing in critical infrastructure like fire services.
