TASG Season 3 Launches with Elementary Athletes Competing

The third season of the Athletics School Games (TASG) kicked off yesterday, featuring elementary athletes at the Yaba College of Technology. The event saw participation from over 20 primary schools, showcasing talent across various track events for children aged 4 to 16.

Dr. Seun Akinbohun, the founder of TASG, emphasized the initiative's commitment to nurturing young talent and improving the quality of school sports.

The competition aims to provide a platform for talent discovery and exposure for students. Akinbohun expressed excitement about the event's growth and the enthusiasm shown by students, parents, and officials.

The games, which will continue into Saturday, also focus on instilling values of respect and sportsmanship, with the Kashopefoluwa Sportsmanship Award presented to athletes exemplifying integrity and discipline during the competition.
