Katie Taylor to Retire After 2026 Dublin Farewell Fight

Katie Taylor, the 39-year-old undisputed light welterweight champion, has announced her plans to retire after a farewell fight scheduled for the summer of 2026 in Dublin. Taylor, who has not fought since her trilogy victory against Amanda Serrano in New York last July, expressed her desire for her swansong fight to take place at Croke Park.

In an interview with RTÉ, she stated, "I just want to fight in Dublin to end my career," highlighting her hope for the event to occur at Croke Park, although she acknowledged that if it does not happen, there are plenty of other options available. Taylor has previously fought at the 3Arena and has Croke Park at the top of her list for her final bout.
