TCN Announces Scheduled Power Outage in Parts of Abuja for Maintenance

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has announced a scheduled maintenance exercise at the Apo Transmission Substation in Abuja on January 24, 2026. During the maintenance period from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, areas such as Gudu District, Gaduwa, Durumi, and Garki may experience temporary power interruptions.

The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) will be unable to offer bulk power distribution to customers in these affected areas but assures that supply will be restored immediately after the completion of the maintenance work. TCN apologizes for any inconvenience caused and urges affected consumers to plan accordingly.
