TCN Clears Illegal Structures on Transmission Line in Enugu State

The Abuja Transmission Company Nigeria (TCN) has demolished illegal structures encroaching on the Ugwuaji-Makurdi transmission line in Enugu State. The action aims to safeguard critical power infrastructure and ensure public safety by removing obstacles that pose serious safety risks.

TCN conducted a sensitization campaign prior to the demolition exercise, warning residents and traders against building within the transmission corridor. Ndidi Mbah, the General Manager of Public Affairs at TCN, emphasized the importance of maintaining clearance around transmission lines to prevent accidents and ensure uninterrupted access for maintenance personnel.
