TCN Commends NUEE for Peace, Pledges Staff Welfare

During a joint advisory committee meeting held at the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) corporate headquarters in Abuja, Dr. Sule Abdulaziz, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of TCN, commended the National Union of Electricity Employees (NUEE) for sustaining a cordial relationship based on mutual respect.

He emphasized the importance of collaboration in pursuing the collective progress of the company. Abdulaziz pledged TCN's commitment to working with the union to enhance staff welfare and foster industrial harmony, despite the challenges currently facing the power sector in Nigeria.

Joe Ajaero, the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), who spoke on behalf of NUEE, praised TCN management for their efforts to improve staff welfare and appealed for better compensation packages in light of the prevailing economic situation. The meeting also addressed various staff welfare issues affecting the efficient operation of TCN.
