TCN Restores Power on Benin/Omotosho 330kV Line

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) announced the restoration of power on the Benin/Omotosho 330kV transmission line at approximately 7:05 PM on June 25, 2026. The outage was caused by a detached conductor, which required TCN engineers to conduct maintenance work on the affected section of the transmission line.

Following the completion of the maintenance, the line was brought back into service, allowing the Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC), Eko Electricity Distribution Plc, and Ikeja Electric to resume power supply to their customers in the franchise area. TCN expressed apologies for the inconvenience caused by the outage and appreciated the understanding and cooperation of customers during the maintenance period.
