Team Zion Wins Inaugural Catholic Charity Golf Event

Team Zion won the maiden Catholic charity golf event, achieving a gross score of 61 and a combined handicap net score of 57. The team, consisting of Lynda Obieze, Bidemi Ojo, Fred Appah, and Jimoh Ogundar, clinched victory under the theme "Swing to Serve with Love." Team Lasgidi Bandito finished second after a countback with a net score of 57, comprising members Abiola Adewusi, Lynda Onwuazo, Femi Ajala, and Omobola Omofaiy, who recorded a gross score of 66.

The third position went to Team Ikeja Club, represented by Amusa Kilani, Muritala Rasaki, Moje Aberuagba, and Anthoni Akogwu, with a gross score of 61 and a net score of 58. The charity golf event was organized to raise funds for mental health support for clergy and religious consecrated persons, as explained by Rev. Fr. Michael Olofinlad, emphasizing the importance of mental health awareness within the clergy.
