Tech4Dev Appoints Abraham Akpan as Country Manager

Tech4Dev has appointed Abraham Akpan as the Country Manager for Nigeria and Sub-Sahara Africa, marking a significant milestone in the organization's growth strategy. This appointment is part of Tech4Dev's efforts to expand its presence in 30 African countries and scale its programs and partnerships.

Akpan, a 2021 Mandela Washington Fellow, has a decade of experience in delivering high-impact programs focused on human capital development and economic opportunities across multiple African countries. Prior to this role, he served as the Chief Operating Officer at Taltrix, where he connected African talent with global opportunities.

In his new position, Akpan will oversee strategic partnerships and program development in the region, strengthening Tech4Dev's capacity to mobilize young people and advance digital inclusion. His leadership is expected to support Tech4Dev's 2030 vision of expanding access to economic opportunities and leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance the talent ecosystem in Africa.
