During a recent webinar titled "Influence of Product Evolution on Player Behaviour," experts examined the significant changes in gambling due to technology. Kayod Lawal, founder and CEO of Safe Game Technology Ltd, noted that advancements in mobile technology have made gambling more accessible, leading to increased engagement.

Dr. Abiola Salawu, a mental health specialist at the Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital, identified the psychological factors contributing to problem gambling, including financial strain and impulsive behaviors.

Fisayo Ok, CEO of Gambl Alert, emphasized that gambling-related harm is not solely a characteristic of specific products but is influenced by the risk levels associated with them. The panel discussed the necessity for regulatory measures to keep pace with technological innovations and the importance of responsible product design to support individuals experiencing gambling-related harm.
