Yagba West Chairman Imposes Curfew Amid Bandit Attacks

The Chairman of Yagba West Local Government, Hon. Tosin Olokun, has imposed a dusk-to-dawn curfew in response to bandit attacks in the region.

The curfew, effective immediately, aims to neutralize criminal elements operating in border communities and forests. Security agencies will conduct patrols and surveillance during the restricted hours.

Recent incidents include abductions, attacks, and kidnappings in Mashegu LGA, leading to residents fleeing to safer areas. The community is urged to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities to security posts.
