Terrorists Kill Vigilante in Plateau State Attack

On Monday night, a terrorist attack in Tanjol Village, located in the Jol District of the Riyom Local Government Area in Plateau State, resulted in the death of 25-year-old vigilante Daniel Danladi Choji. Eyewitnesses reported that terrorists stormed the area in five groups and opened fire indiscriminately.

The combined team from Rainbow Security Operations confirmed the incident. Bulu Jok, a community member, noted that Choji was on patrol duty at the time of the attack.

In response to the violence, the Berom Youth Moulder Association, represented by its National Public Secretary Rwang Tengwong, condemned the attack and called on the Plateau State government and security agencies to take urgent action to prevent further violence. The group also urged authorities to halt grazing activities in the area, which they allege are linked to the movement of armed groups, and demanded intensified military operations to ensure security in the region.
