John Terry Frustrated Over Chelsea Caretaker Role Omission

John Terry, the former captain of Chelsea FC, has voiced his frustration regarding the club's decision to overlook him for the caretaker coaching role after Enzo Maresca's departure in January. Terry had worked part-time as a mentor for the academy for two months but was not included in the temporary staff appointed to manage the team against Maresca's unexpected exit.

The club appointed Liam Rosenior, who was later promoted to the first team staff, as the caretaker coach. Terry, who holds a UEFA Pro License and has a FIFA Diploma in Leadership, has previously served as an assistant head coach under Dean Smith at Charlotte FC in the United States and managed an indoor six-a-side team.

He expressed disappointment over the lack of opportunities in coaching, having applied for several roles in the English Football League without success. Terry emphasized his readiness to lead a team and questioned the decision-making process regarding coaching appointments at Chelsea.
