Adeleke Commits to Deliver Osun Votes for Tinubu in 2027

Ademola Adeleke, the Governor of Osun State, stated his genuine commitment to delivering the state's votes to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 elections. During a visit from Ajibola Basiru, the National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adeleke expressed that his fear of God prevents him from making empty promises.

He referred to Tinubu as his "dear father" and insisted on the importance of integrity in politics, urging Osun residents to work together despite political differences. Adeleke shared that his values stem from lessons taught by his late father, who emphasized the significance of fulfilling commitments.

He recounted his role in political negotiations that led to Godswill Akpabio becoming President of the Senate and Tajudeen Abbas as Speaker of the House of Representatives, highlighting his efforts to persuade Osun lawmakers to support Tinubu's candidates. Adeleke called for unity among politicians and residents to enhance the state's development.
