APC Demands Resignation of Adeleke's Chief of Staff

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has issued a strong condemnation of Kazeem Akinley, the Chief of Staff to Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, demanding his resignation due to allegations linking him to a ₦13.7 billion payroll fraud. In a press statement released by Kola Olabisi, the APC's Director of Media and Information, the party expressed that Akinley's involvement in the alleged fraud has brought "monumental shame" to the state and has heightened concerns regarding the administration's integrity.

The APC described Akinley as unfit for his position, asserting that his actions undermine public confidence in the state government. The statement also referenced allegations made by Saadat Ottun, Vice Chairman of the Chief Executive Office, and Salli Tibbot Consult, which circulated widely on social media.

The APC contrasted Akinley's tenure with previous occupants of the Chief of Staff position, including Elder Peter Babalola, who served under former governors Olagunsoye Oyinlola and Gboyega Oyetola, and Rauf Aregbesola.
