APC Chieftain Criticizes Support for Bala Mohammed

Aliyu Abdullahi Ilelah, a prominent member of the APC in Bauchi State, expressed strong disapproval of the party's caucus for their support of Governor Bala Mohammed's move to defect to the APC. Ilelah characterized this support as disrespectful to President Bola Tinubu, emphasizing that it undermines the party's unity and success in the upcoming 2027 elections.

He accused the caucus of being driven by self-interest rather than the collective success of the APC. Ilelah's comments came during a report addressing the situation in Bauchi, where he alleged that the caucus's actions were motivated by personal ambitions rather than the party's goals.

He described Governor Mohammed as a self-centered politician and an enemy of Tinubu's administration, suggesting that the caucus's support for him could lead to divisiveness within the party.
