Thomas Adewumi University Enhances Medical Training with Tech

Thomas Adewumi University (TAU), located in Irepodun Local Government, Kwara State, has recently unveiled a cutting-edge virtual dissection table, a significant advancement in medical education in Nigeria. The table, provided by 3B Scientific, features an 84-inch interactive 3D platform designed for anatomy, radiology, and surgical simulations.

Prof. Francisca Oladipo, the Vice Chancellor of TAU, stated that this acquisition represents a major investment in educational technology, positioning TAU as one of the first universities in Nigeria to integrate virtual dissection technology into its medical curriculum.

This innovation allows students to explore human anatomy in life-size detail, examining structures layer by layer without the need for physical dissection. The virtual dissection table also enables advanced learning through clinical simulations, including real-time comparisons of CT and MRI scans, and supports in-depth studies across various anatomical models.

This development aligns with TAU's vision to deliver world-class education and strengthen its reputation as a hub for cutting-edge medical training in Nigeria.
