Three Security Operatives Collapse at Soludo's Inauguration

During the second term inauguration ceremony of Anambra State Governor Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, three security operatives collapsed due to exhaustion caused by the harsh weather conditions.

The incidents occurred at different locations throughout the ceremony held on Tuesday. The first incident involved a male police officer who collapsed during the parade, followed by a female officer from the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) who slumped towards the end of the event.

Despite being escorted by ambulance personnel, she refused to be moved on a stretcher. A Department of State Services (DSS) officer also collapsed in front of the podium during the parade.

Sources, who requested anonymity, indicated that the officers were later resuscitated on-site before being taken to the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital in Amaku, Awka. At the time of reporting, no further information was available regarding their conditions, and various security spokesmen declined to comment on the developments.
