Thugs destroy Tinubu’s 2027 billboards in Ondo state

A group within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo state, known as the Grassroots Movement Tinubu (GMT), has accused unidentified individuals of destroying billboards promoting President Bola Tinubu. The incident occurred in Akure, Ondo state, where billboards supporting Tinubu were forcefully removed.

The GMT director of media and publicity, Oyewamide Ojo, described the act as a deliberate assault on democracy and free speech. The destruction of the billboards comes amidst a rift between the GMT and Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, who recently issued a directive for support groups to operate under a single platform called Ondo Tinubu.

The GMT views this vandalism as an attempt to erase the truth and progress that Nigeria is currently experiencing under Tinubu's leadership.
